Monterey Car Week 2025, held from August 8 to August 17, will transform California’s Monterey Peninsula into a global hub for automotive enthusiasts. This ten-day event features a series of car shows, auctions, rallies, and races, culminating in the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 17. Attracting collectors, manufacturers, and fans, the week celebrates automotive history, design, and innovation against the scenic backdrop of the Pacific Coast.

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, held on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, remains the centerpiece of the week. This year’s 74th edition will feature classes such as the centennials of Invicta, Chrysler, and Moretti, alongside 75 years of Formula 1 and 60 years of the Shelby Cobra 427. Over 200 vehicles from 16 countries will compete for Best of Show, judged on historical accuracy, technical merit, and style. The event’s charitable impact is significant, having raised over $41 million for local causes since 1950.

Other notable events include the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, showcasing vintage race cars, including Formula 1 vehicles, from August 14 to 16. The Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance, a scenic drive along 17-Mile Drive and Highway 1, will feature over 150 concours entrants on August 14, offering spectators a free glimpse of these roadworthy classics. The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, on August 15, combines luxury with exclusive vehicle unveilings, while auctions by RM Sotheby’s, Gooding & Company, and Broad Arrow will feature rare cars, from pre-war classics to modern hypercars.
